30 students honored with special lunch

Basden was honored as an October Student of the Month and Bray for September. Bray attended the lunch for October because he was unable to attend a similar event the month before.

The seventh- and eighth-grade students were recognized by their teachers.
Six character traits, including positive attitude, are celebrated at Stevens Middle School during the school year: respect, citizenship, courage, commitment and a final — “teachers” choice.
Recognized as October Students of the Month for their positive attitude were Ben Basden, Annie Blair, Bre Buchanan, Tasha Carney, Sam Charles, Royce Duncan, Islynd Edwards, Sky Harrison, Jacob Hensen, Max Hornack, Keenan Leslie, Kaden Little, Denzel Loghry, Joslyn Millsap, Madelynn Mitts and Reed Morace.
Also, Justin Parker, Zach Parrill, Sienna Porter, Nikki Price, Laura Rooney, Hailey Scott, Bonnie Sires, Amber Smith, Randy Smith, Natalie Steinman, Lucas Verstegen, Lori Webb, Maya Wharton and Marin Williamson.
