The exhibition has become a twice-yearly tradition in Port Angeles.
“Budding artists, established artists, kids’ art, old art: All are welcome,” Stokes noted.
Entry to BYOA is simple: This Friday, bring up to three works of visual art to Studio Bob, upstairs at 118˝ E. Front St., along with $5 per piece.
Stokes and crew will accept art for display from noon until
7 p.m. Friday, and then install the show the next morning.
The opening reception for this 12th biannual Bring Your Own Art exhibition is slated for 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday at Studio Bob, which now also features The Loom, a lounge with food and beverage service, and entertainment on the Allé Stage adjacent to the gallery space.
Bring Your Own Art, which in previous years has bloomed into a large and diverse display of local artists’ creations, will stay open after Saturday’s party.
Its public hours will be from noon to 3 p.m. this Sunday, from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. the following Thursdays and Fridays, Jan. 17, 18, 24 and 25, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. the following two Saturdays, Jan. 19 and 26.
To find out more about entering work in the show or about other activities at Studio Bob and The Loom, phone Stokes at 415-990-0457.
