“The Woman in Black,” an old-fashioned tale of suspense, will unfold Wednesday in a special discount preview at OTA, 414 N. Sequim Ave., and director Ron Graham, for one, is filled with anticipation.
“My intent is to build suspense from the moment people walk into the theater,” said Graham, who has told no one outside the production who the performers are.
That suspense is already mounting, it seems, though the show has yet to open.
“I’ve had a number of people who are extremely curious, almost upset with the fact they don’t know,” he added.
The preview performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Seats will go for $8, while OTA members will be admitted free. As with all previews at OTA, this is a first-come, first seated show with no reserved seats.
Opening night for “The Woman in Black” is this Friday.
Curtain times will be 7:30 p.m. each Friday and Saturday through Nov. 17 and 2 p.m. each Sunday through Nov. 18. Tickets will be $16 for adults, $14 for OTA members and active duty military and $11 for youth 15 and younger.
For details, phone OTA’s business office between
1 p.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays at 360-683-7326 or visit www.OlympicTheatreArts.org.
