The Roughriders (16-4) will play No. 4 White River (20-3), which soundly pounded Bremerton 64-33, on Saturday at 2:20 p.m. The game will also be at Foss High School.
If Port Angeles beats the Hornets, it plays the winner between Sumner (17-5) and Olympic (17-5) on Monday morning at the ShoWare Center in Kent for the district championship. If the Riders lose, they will play the Sumner-Olympic loser Monday afternoon at Foss.
Also on Thursday, the Port Townsend (9-14) boys' run through the 1A Tri-District tournament ended with a 39-31 loss to Mount Baker (9-14).
1B Tri-District semifinals
The Neah Bay boys and girls split their district games at Mount Vernon Christian School on Thursday afternoon.
The second-ranked Red Devils boys (16-1) smacked Evergreen Lutheran 68-34. They will play for the district title on Monday against the Cedar Park Christian (Mountlake Terrace) (21-3), again at Mount Vernon Christian.
The No. 3 Neah Bay (14-2) girls fell to Tulalip Heritage 44-36.
It was only the second loss suffered by the Red Devils this season.
They will play Mount Vernon Christian (16-9) for third place Monday at Mount Vernon Christian.
Friday's Games
The Sequim (18-3) boys face Franklin Pierce (13-9) in a double-elimination 2A West Central District game. Tip off is 6 p.m. at Lakes High School in Tacoma.
If the Wolves win, they will play the Sumner-Renton winner Saturday at Foss High School. If they lose, they will play the loser of the Sumner (14-9) and third-ranked Renton (21-1) game Saturday at Curtis High School in University Place.
The Port Townsend girls (13-9) will try to advance in the 1A Tri-District tournament by beating Blaine (15-6) in a loser-out game at 4:30 p.m. at Mountlake Terrace High School.
The winner will move on play Eatonville (17-3) on Saturday at Lynnwood High School in Bothell.
