The Port Townsend Youth Chorus and Vocal Ensemble, the new OCEAN Children's Choir and the Port Townsend Community Handbell Choir will converge on the church for the concert on the first day of spring.
Admission is a suggested $10 donation for adults, while children are invited to attend free.
In this performance, listeners will hear plenty of familiar songs, from “Over the Rainbow” and “Under the Boardwalk” to music from “Les Misérables.”
The handbell choir, led by Judy Schussler, will make its debut at this event.
In addition, Port Townsend Youth Chorus director Leslie Lewis has arranged for a special appearance by a new group of elementary and middle school students in the OCEAN — Opportunity, Community, Experience, Academics, and Navigation — program at the Port Townsend School District. High school student Alanna Dailey directs this chorus.
As always with Candlelight Concerts, refreshments will be served afterward.
Proceeds from the event benefit Port Townsend charity groups and Trinity's music and historic Victorian restoration programs.
