‘Shop ’Til You Drop,’ chamber after-hours mixer, in Port Angeles today

More than 30 stores and shops in downtown Port Angeles and at The Landing mall are participating.
There will be complimentary gifts, sales, special discounts on merchandise, drawings for door prizes and holiday cocoa, hot cider and cookies at many of the stores for people who come in between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Shoppers can enter a drawing at the participating stores for a gift basket with gift certificates worth more than $500.
“Shop ’Til You Drop” is sponsored by the Port Angeles Downtown Association.
Also today, the Port Angeles Regional Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual holiday after-hours business mixer from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The mixer is at Necessities and Temptations gift shop/department store, 217 N. Laurel St.
There will be appetizers, eggnog, hot cider, chocolates and a drawing for door prizes.
Colorful shopping bags for “Shop ‘Til You Drop” will be provided at the mixer.
Special wristbands also will be available, entitling the wearer that evening to wines at $3 a glass and $5 cheesy flatbread at Wine on the Waterfront in The Landing mall.
