CARLSBORG — The Clallam County Public Utility District’s temporary payment center at the Sequim Co-op will close permanently at 12:30 p.m. Friday.
The office at the store at 216 E. Washington St., was opened as a temporary solution for staff and operations to transition to the PUD’s main office at 104 Hooker Road in Carlsborg.
“The need to maintain the small payment center at the Co-op is no longer necessary,” said Mike Howe, PUD spokesman.
The outside payment drop box will remain at the Sequim Co-op location. Cash is not accepted there.
For those customers not needing to visit the office in person, the PUD’s Smart Hub payment option allows customers to view their bills, sign up for paperless billing and use their debit or credit cards for autopay or to make one-time payments.
Customers can also pay by phone at 1-844-239-0074.
