Manager leaving
PORT TOWNSEND — The ReCyclery’s current shop manager, Kris Day, is leaving the shop Wednesday to be the new manager of Marine Thrift, located at 315 Haines Place.
Day has worked at the ReCyclery for the past three years and will be “sorely missed by volunteers, customers and staff alike,” according to a news release.
“I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who’s been involved in my time at the ReCyclery,” Day said in a news release.
“I’ll be handing the reins of daily shop operations over to Nick [Favicchio], who’s been assimilating more and more of my responsibilities, and we’re still on the lookout for a rock-star mechanic who wants to come spin wrenches and get down and nerdy about bikes.”
