EYE ON BUSINESS: This week’s meetings

Port Angeles Business Association — Breakfast meetings with networking and educational programs are held Tuesdays at 7:30 a.m. at Joshua’s Restaurant, 113 Del Guzzi Drive (off U.S. Highway 101) in east Port Angeles.

This week features unopposed candidates for Clallam County Superior Court judges and for Clallam PUD commissioner — Elizabeth Stanley, Simon Barnhart, Brent Basden and John Purvis.

There is a $5 minimum charge by Joshua’s for those at the PABA meeting who do not order breakfast.

Port Angeles Rotary — Meetings on Wednesdays at the student-run Wildcat Cafe at Lincoln School, 924 W. Ninth St., at 11:30 a.m. in Port Angeles.

This week features candidates for the 6th District Congressional race. Drew MacEwen and Emily Randall will discuss their plans and policies, should they be elected, followed by questions from club members.

Port Angeles Nor’Wester Rotary — Meeting in person Friday at 7 a.m. at Port Angeles Senior & Community Center, 328 E. Seventh St. in Port Angeles.

This week features Christine Gilmore of Rural Development Initiatives.

Port Angeles Kiwanis Club — Meets in person from noon to 1 p.m. every Thursday at Joshua’s Restaurant, 113 Del Guzzi Drive (off U.S. Highway 101) in east Port Angeles.

This week features Mark Nichols, Clallam County prosecuting attorney.

Olympic Kiwanis Club — Meets in-person 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. every Thursday at Port Angeles Food Bank, 632 N. Oakridge Drive in Port Angeles. Coffee is served.

This week features Joey Belanger and Sarah Scagliotti from the Clallam County YMCA, with information about the Y’s youth programs and their planned Early Learning Center.

Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce — Monthly luncheon meetings are held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesdays at Sunland Golf Club, 109 Hilltop Drive, Sequim.

This week features a Clallam County budget and programs update.

The Port Townsend Sunrise Rotary Club — Hybrid meetings Wednesdays at 7:15 a.m. In person at Grace Lutheran Church fellowship hall, 1120 Walker St., Port Townsend, and streaming on the Zoom platform.
