Food drive competition to benefit Port Townsend Food Bank

PORT TOWNSEND — During the month of January several members of the senior living industry in Port Townsend will compete in a food drive to support the Port Townsend Food Bank.

According to a press release, the manager of the facility losing the food fight will earn a pie in the face from the manager of the winning facility.

Donors are asked to bring non-perishable food donations to Avamere at Port Townsend, 1201 Hancock St.; Home Instead, 211 Taylor St.; the Korean Women’s Association In-Home Care, 2037 E. Sims Way, Suite P; Discovery View, 1051 Hancock St.; Life Care Center, 751 Kearney St.; or Victoria Place, 491 Discovery Road.

All food collected will be donated to the Jefferson County Food Bank.
