PORT TOWNSEND — Jefferson Healthcare has announced the recipients of its Fourth Quarter Recognition program.
The program highlights the service of an employee, a provider and a team during the previous quarter.
The employee of the quarter is Ambir Pankau, a registered nurse who has been assisting with protecting staff and visitors from COVID-19-positive patients.
Also recognized was the personal protective equipment council.
The council is comprised of staff from all sectors of the organization and works to address any PPE concerns.
Council members include Jess Cigalotti, Julia Drew, Mitzi Hazard, Tracy Ware, Deb Lettau, Arabella Daubenberger, Randy Holeman, Larry Koch, Laura Showers, Jeinell Harper, Dr. Tracie Harris, Andy Peasley, Jaimie Hoobler, Kara O’Connell, David Sharpe, Andrew Skipper, Alice Fox, Karah Ealy, Kalie Fountain, Katie-Rose Fischer-Price, Shannon Groff, Kelly O’Connell, Jessi Taft, Tesha Davidson and Rachael Collins.
The provider of the quarter recognition was awarded to the facility’s three COVID-19 physicians, Drs. Joe Mattern, Tracie Harris and Steve Butterfield.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the trio has been on call one day in three to contact patients with positive COVID-19 tests, consult with other physicians and aid in developing plans regarding the organization’s virus response.
