PORT TOWNSEND — The Local Investing Opportunity Network will host an open forum from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday.

The forum is at Port Townsend Vineyards, 2640 W. Sims Way.

The no-host bar opens at 4:30 p.m. followed by a presentation at 5 p.m. with time afterward for informal conversations.

According to a press release, members of the network, which is associated with Local 20/20, have invested more than $7.6 million with more than 75 Jefferson County businesses since 2006.

Event organizers said that the forum will be informative for community members interested in joining the network as well as for those interested in applying for LION financing.
