McCauley joins staff of Jefferson County Historical Society

Tara McCauley is the director of education and public engagement for the Jefferson County Historical Society.

PORT TOWNSEND — The Jefferson County Historical Society announced that Tara McCauley has joined its staff as director of education and public engagement.

According to a press release, McCauley has almost 20 years experience in museum programming, most recently as director of education at the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture in Seattle.

McCauley has a Bachelor of Arts in art history from the University of Massachusetts and a Master of Education from the University of British Columbia.

McCauley’s position is made possible by the support of the Ferguson Family Foundation.
