New owners of Port Ludlow postal contract to take over July 1

PORT LUDLOW — The U.S. Postal Service has announced that Scott and Paula Quast have purchased the contract post office in Port Ludlow and will continue to operate the facility starting July 1.

The new business will be called Port Ludlow Mail Services.

According to a press release from Larry Dekker, the current owner of the office will continue to operate until the Quasts take over so that there is no interruption in service to the community.

Dekker, the postmaster in Port Hadlock, manages the contract for the Port Ludlow office.
