PORT ANGELES — The Olympic Peninsula Visitor Bureau is accepting applications for tourism marketing project grants.
Grants are available for projects that support tourism marketing, collateral production, promotion of area festivals or events and website development.
The grants are funded with lodging taxes collected from hotels and motels in the unincorporated portions of Clallam County; projects must market events and activities that are primarily within the county.
“Our goal is to help develop a more year-round tourism base, to better contribute to a healthy local economy by supporting qualified local activities, which help draw overnight visitors to our area,” said Marsha Massey, the bureau’s executive director.
Guidelines for the grants and application forms are available at www.olympicpeninsula.org/industry.
Grants are awarded four times per year; applications for the current round of funding must be received by Friday, April 9.
Decisions on grant applications should be available by Wednesday, April 21.
Deadlines for the remaining 2021 grants are Friday, Sept. 3, and Friday, Nov. 5.
