PORT ANGELES — Peninsula College has announced that Scott McClellan will be the college’s ceramic artist in residence for the 2019-20 academic year.
McClellan will assist professor Steve Belz in managing the ceramics studio, continue to create artwork and he will teach a two-credit ceramics class in the evenings each quarter.
McClellan also will be featured in a solo exhibition “Rest and Silence” from Nov. 5 through Dec. 5 in the Pirates Union Building.
McClellan has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Utah State University in Logan, Utah, and a Masters of Fine Arts from Missouri University in Columbia, Mo.
Most recently, McClellan has been the wood fire resident at the Clay Studio of Missoula, Mont.
