Port Angles Waterfront Center hires director of development

PORT ANGELES — The Port Angeles Waterfront Center has announced that Jessica Hernandez has been hired as its director of development.

Hernandez was the executive director of the Port Angeles Food Bank and is a co-founder of the Peninsula Food Coalition.

She has served as past president for the Port Angeles Chamber of Commerce and the Port Angeles Rotary Club.

Hernandez also was recently appointed to the statewide Commission on Hispanic Affairs by Gov. Jay Inslee.
