Port Angeles man arrested for investigation of second-degree rape

A charging hearing will be held Friday in Clallam County Superior Court.

PORT ANGELES — A 23-year-old Port Angeles man is scheduled for a charging hearing in Clallam County Superior Court at 1 p.m. Friday after he was arrested for investigation of second-degree rape.

Seth Owens remained in the Clallam County jail Wednesday afternoon on $100,000 bail.

Owens is accused of having sex with an unconscious woman at a party in August, according to the probable-cause statement for his arrest.

Port Angeles police arrested Owens on Tuesday.

Second-degree rape is a class A felony.
