PORT ANGELES — Studio Bob will present “The Art of Theater,” a joint project of the Port Angeles Community Players and Port Angeles Arts Council, during Second Saturday Art Walk.
The opening night and artist reception for the exhibit will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the studio upstairs at 118½ E. Front St. A no-host bar will serve beer and wine in The Loom during the opening.
The Port Angeles Community Players have supplied 25 original wooden seat backs from what was The Olympian Theater at 113 E. Front St., a site which is now the parking lot next to Michael’s Restaurant, according to a press release.
The seat backs, which are almost 100 years old, have been decorated by local artists and will be on display during the art walk and throughout the month of October.
On Nov. 1, the seat backs will available by auction during the Port Angeles Arts Council Spaghetti Fundraiser/Dinner. Proceeds of the auction will go to the PA Community Players.
