Auditions set for ‘Barefoot in the Park’

PORT ANGELES — The Port Angeles Community Players will conduct open auditions for its production of “Barefoot in the Park” by Neil Simon at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The auditions will be at the Port Angeles Community Playhouse, 1235 E. Lauridsen Blvd.

Each audition will consist of a reading from the script and actors should be familiar with the script before the audition.

Copies of the script are available at the Port Angeles and Sequim public libraries. In Port Angeles, the library is at 2210 S. Peabody St. In Sequim, it is at 630 N. Sequim Ave.

Roles are available for Corrie Bratter, Paul Bratter, Mrs. Banks, the telephone repairman and a non-speaking role for a delivery person.

Director Barbara Frederick will begin rehearsals in mid-April for the June 7-23 production.
