SEQUIM — Bill Baccus will present “Snowpack, Glaciers and the Future of Olympic Rivers” at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Baccus will address a meeting of the Olympic Peninsula Audubon Society at the Dungeness River Nature Center, 1943 W. Hendrickson Road.
Baccus, a physical science technician with Olympic National Park, will discuss the current state of Olympic glaciers and the long-term decline of their winter snowpack, with an eye toward future expectations for North Olympic river systems.
The presentation is free and open to the public.
