PORT TOWNSEND — Aurora Loop Gallery will host a reception for Kate Flores and Carolyn King from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.
The gallery is located at 971 Aurora Loop.
The mixed media exhibit depicts women and nature.
Flores, a local artist, and King, visiting from Tucson, Ariz., have been friends for 40 years. The show celebrates that relationship.
While Flores’ work reflects her relationship with the environment, King’s is grounded in her coming of age in central Mexico.
The exhibit will be open from noon to 5 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays throughout June.
