Black Diamond Junction plays at free concert

SEQUIM — Local favorite Black Diamond Junction will present a free concert Sunday.

The outdoor concert, open to the public and family friendly, will take place in a field at John Wayne’s Rustic Waterfront Resort, 2634 W. Sequim Bay Road. The music will begin at 1 p.m.

Black Diamond Junction has been voted “Best Live Performance Group” in Clallam County 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 by Peninsula Daily News readers. The band performs crowd-pleasing, classic hits from the 1960s-2000.

The free Labor Day weekend concert has become a tradition, as the band partners with the resort each year to celebrate the end of the summer season and say thank you to locals and visitors alike.

Refreshments will be available for sale at the event.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket, as seating is limited.
