Book discussion groups scheduled

PORT ANGELES — The North Olympic Library System will continue its book discussion groups online throughout July.

Participants must register at www.nols.org to receive the link to the free Zoom meetings.

• The Second Saturday Book Discussion Group will meet at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 10, to discuss “There There” by Tommy Orange.

Paperback copies are available for curbside pickup at the Sequim Library.

The group will discuss “Braiding Sweetgrass” by Robin Wall Kimmerer in August.

• The Second Tuesday Book Discussion Group will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 13, to discuss “Lost City of the Monkey God” by Douglas Preston.

Paperback copies are available for curbside pickup at the Port Angeles Library.

In August, the group will discuss “Mozart’s Starling” by Lyanda Lynn Haupt.

• The Novel Conversations Book Discussion Group is set to meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, to talk about “The Girl with the Louding Voice” by Abi Daré.

Paperback copies are available for curbside pickup at the Sequim Library.

The group plans to discuss “Before I Go to Sleep” by S.J. Watson in August.

• The Wednesday Evening Book Discussion Group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, to discuss “The Island of Sea Women” by Lisa See.

Paperback copies are available for curbside pickup at the Port Angeles Library.

Its August selection is “The Story of More” by Hope Jahren.
