PORT ANGELES — Tickets are on sale now for “But is it ART?” to be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27.
The panel discussion is part of the Art Bites series held at the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center, 1203 E. Lauridsen Blvd.
The panel will be discussing key questions to consider when encountering a new work of art, the difference between appreciating a work and liking it and why some artists deliberately use ambiguity in their work.
The panel includes Ramon Cerna, Mike Middlestead and Sarah Jane and will be facilitated by Jessica Elliott, the center’s executive director.
The program will include time for questions and insights from the audience.
Tickets are $20 per person and can be purchased online at www.pafac.org.
