Climate forum set for Sunday

PORT ANGELES — Tony Billera will present “Our Transportation Footprint on the Olympic Peninsula: How to reduce our use of fossil fuels” at 12:20 p.m. Sunday.

The free public forum is in the Olympic Unitarian Universalist Fellowship’s fellowship hall, 1033 N. Barr Road, Port Angeles.

Billera, senior fellow at the Center for Advanced Transportation and Energy Solutions, will discuss transportation on the Olympic Peninsula and review electric car options.

Sunday’s forum will finish the monthly Climate Change Forum series sponsored by the fellowship’s Climate Action Team.

The presentation is expected to last 45 minutes to an hour and will include time for questions.
