PORT ANGELES — Los Angeles comedian Troy Walker will bring his show to the Little Theater stage at Peninsula College at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
The comedy show is the first of a series of three scheduled for the 2022-23 academic year, hosted by the College’s Associated Student Government.
Admission is free for Peninsula College students and by donation, in any amount, for community members and college staff. The show will feature adult content.
“The ASC is thrilled to welcome comedian Troy Walker to Peninsula College,” said Hedvig Persson, vice president of programming.
“This is a great opportunity for us to bring students and the community back to our beautiful campus for a fun night of comedy.”
Walker made his television debut on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and has since appeared on VICE’s Flophouse. He played the role of Don Lemon on Fusion TV’s Trump vs. Bernie, appeared on Comedy Central’s Corporate, and Fuse’s Uproarious, and is also featured in a PetSmart commercial starring Jane Lynch.
Originally from Denver, Walker is a graduate of the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law and is a regular at comedy festivals across the country. He was twice named winner of the “New Face” contest at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal.
