PORT TOWNSEND — Lisa Lanza will perform a Mother’s Day concert to benefit Ugandan AIDS orphans at 4 p.m. Sunday.
The annual concert is First Presbyterian Church of Port Townsend, 1111 Franklin St.
A $20 donation, cash or check, is suggested for concert-goers 12 and older.
Lanza, a pianist, will be joined by violinists Anabel Moore, Amidah Soosong and Cassidy Yearian; pianist Michael Carroll; the Wild Rose Chorale; clarinet player Joel Wallgren; mezzo-soprano Sharon Buck; and sopranos Laurel Sprig, Jeni Little and Leslie Lewis.
Jonathan Stafford and Elise Sinclair will direct the adult and children choirs.
Port Townsend’s Grace Lutheran Church has been supporting relationships with orphans in Uganda since 2002.
Last year’s concert raised $3,813 for the program.
The church is sponsoring a new group of 31 orphans this year.
