COYLE — Curtis and Loretta will play at 3 p.m. Sunday for Concerts in the Woods.
The concert is at the Laurel B. Johnson Community Center, 923 Hazel Point Road, Coyle. Tickets are a suggested donation of $20.
Featuring Curtis Teague, a Texas-born troubadour, and Loretta Simonet, a Minnesota-raised theater graduate, the folk singer-songwriter duo have been called “Best Acoustic Performers of the Twin Cities.”
The duo has performed with folk luminaries such as Pete Seeger, Arlo Guthrie, Vassar Clements, Claudia Schmidt and Holly Near. They use a variety of instruments, including guitars, harp, mandocello, banjo, ukulele, kazoo, harmonica and percussion, to perform traditional folk-inspired original songs.
They recently released their 10th album, “Lift the World.”
