Dance party a fundraiser for Community Players

PORT ANGELES — The annual Port Angeles Community Players Fall Fundraiser dance party, ”Oogie Boogie Wonderland,” is slated from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday at Studio Bob in downtown Port Angeles.

Tickets are $20 per person in advance and can be purchased at the Port Angeles Community Players website, www.pa communityplayers.org,. Tickets also can be purchased at the door the night of the party for $25. Studio Bob is located above Sound Bike & Kayaks at 118 ½ E. Front St.

The gathering is a chance to dance and party with other like-minded denizens and creatures of the night. Of course there will be a costume contest, with prizes not only for best costume but also for best Disney-themed costume.

For your safety and the safety of others, organizers encouraged participants to wear masks. A prize will be given for the best decorated safety face mask — one that covers the nose and mouth.

A taco/nacho bar and sweet treats will be available, as well as adult beverages in the Loom.

Prize raffles will be on hand as well as silent auction goodies.
