PORT ANGELES — Early bird passes are available now for the 24th annual Juan de Fuca Festival of the Arts, set May 26-29.
The festival will feature nearly 100 performances on four stages over four days. It also will include a street fair, children’s activities and workshops in yoga, tai chi and puppetry, as well as drumming circles.
Information on ticket prices, the festival schedule and videos of the artists are available online at jffa.org. Tickets can be purchased online or at Port Book and News in Port Angeles or Joyful Noise in Sequim.
“The Juan de Fuca Festival is perhaps the premiere music event on the Olympic Peninsula and, in its 24th year, has grown into one of the great music festivals in the Pacific Northwest,” Maguire said.
“Even so, the festival retains its small-town roots and community feeling.”
The Victoria Ballet and the Geoffrey Castle Band are two of the performances scheduled for the festival.
This will be the first time in 15 years the Celtic Rock fiddle player brings his full band to the festival. He will be accompanied by Irish step dancers.
