PORT TOWNSEND — Weaving, beading, quilting and sculpture are among the techniques shown in a new Port Townsend exhibit of work by eight Clallam and Jefferson county surface design artists.
“Working in a Series” will be open until March 3 in the Peninsula Fiber Artists’ walk-by Fiber Habit exhibit space at 675 Tyler St. in Port Townsend.
It demonstrates how Sequim, Port Angeles, Port Townsend and Port Ludlow artists each used a specific technique to explore a theme or style in detail with multiple pieces.
Several of the pieces are available for purchase.
Peninsula Fiber Artists serves surface design and textile artists in Clallam, Jefferson and Kitsap counties with monthly meetings open to the public.
