A variety of entertainment is slated on the North Olympic Peninsula this weekend.
• Concerts in the Barn will begin its seventh season of free chamber music concerts in its iconic barn in Quilcene at 2 p.m. Saturday.
The concerts at the barn at 7360 Center Road in Quilcene will continue through Aug. 27.
Trio Hava — consisting of violist Elisa Barston, cellist Amy Barston and pianist Paige Molloy — will open on Saturday with a Fantasie by composer Florence Price, the first Black American woman to have her work performed by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and closes with Beethoven’s noble Piano Trio in B flat major, known as “the Archduke.”
Although concerts are free, patrons are asked to reserve seating for each performance through TicketStripe, accessible on Concerts’ website at https:// ticketstripe.com /event-list/concerts-in- the-barn.

• Bill Evans Somatic Dance Conference will offer its third dance concert at 7 p.m. today in the JFK Hall at Fort Worden in Port Townsend.
Admission to Summer Dance III tonight will be pay-what-you-can at the door, with $5, $10, $15 or $20 suggested.
• Habitat for Humanity East Jefferson County is hosting an art show featuring more than 140 works of art as well as many collectibles through Saturday.
The Habitat Store Summer 2023 Art Show will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day at 2001 W. Sims Way in Port Townsend. Parking is available behind the store.

• “9 to 5: The Musical,” Ghostlight Production’s 2022-23 season finale, will continue this weekend at Sequim High School’s auditorium, 533 N. Sequim Ave.
The curtains will rise at 7:30 p.m. tonight and Saturday with a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday.

• Buzz Rogowski will perform from 5 to 7 tonight at the Old Alcohol Plant Inn, 310 Hadlock Bay Road, Port Hadlock. No cover charge.
• The Sound Advice Band will perform from 5 to 8 tonight at the Port Townsend Brewing Co., 330 10th St., Port Townsend. No cover charge.
• The Tree City Travelers will perform from 5 to 8 tonight and Saturday at Marrowstone Vineyards, 423 Meade Road, Nordland. No cover charge.
• Tret Fure will perform at 2 p.m. Sunday at Rain Shadow Lavender Farm, 1410 Kitchen-Dick Road, Sequim. Attendees should bring a chair or blanket; no dogs admitted. Tickets are $20 at the gate, cash only.
• Park cleanup party by Friends of Olympic National Park will host a cleanup party at the entrance sign garden from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.
The garden is in front of the Visitor Center, 3002 Mount Angeles Road.
Volunteers are sought to help with weeding, mulching, removing non-native plants and pruning. They are asked to bring gloves, personal snacks and drinks; tools and beverages will be provided by Friends.

• Port Townsend Urban Sketchers will sketch in Point Hudson Marina at 10 a.m. Saturday.
The group will meet outside at the Hudson Point Cafe, 130 Hudson St.
Sketching opportunities include water views, iconic buildings, the beach, the bay and Sea Marine’s boat yard.
The group will reconvene at the cafe at noon to share their work and take a photo.
The event is free and open to sketchers of all skill levels.

• Hula dancing lessons will be presented by Mokihana Melendez and Makana Caro at the Port Angeles and Sequim public libraries on Saturday.
The 90-minute program will be outside the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St., at 10:30 a.m.; the program will move inside in the event of rain. It will be presented at 2 p.m. at the Sequim Library, 601 N. Sequim Ave. The presentation will be outside, rain or shine.
Melendez and Caro will explain the history of hula, demonstrate a kahiko and then teach a standard hula dance and basic Hawaiian words.
The free presentation is part of the Summer Reading Program.

• Work to Learn party, “Growing and Caring for Iris” will be presented by Sherry Smith at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Terrace Garden at Carrie Blake Community Park, 202 N. Blake Ave.
Smith will demonstrate how to cut down spent iris stalks, dig up the rhizomes, inspect for rot and divide and replant them.
The presentation, sponsored by The Sequim Botanical Garden Society, is free and open to the public.

• Railroad lecture by Steve Hauff, local historian, will be presented at a meeting of the North Olympic Peninsula Railroaders at 3 p.m. Saturday.

Hauff is a contributing author on “The Willamette Locomotive,” “The Shay Locomotive: An Illustrated History,” “The Climax Locomotive” and “Timber Titans: Baldwin’s Articulated Logging Locomotives.”
