The culmination of the week-long Farm Week celebration will be Saturday, when farmers markets in Port Angeles and Sequim feature locally grown fresh produce.
Washington State University Clallam County Extension and North Olympic Land Trust feted small farms and local food during Farm Week, which began Sept. 28 with the 23rd annual free Farm Tour.
During the week, farms were open for tours, restaurants and producers offered with meals and entertainment and visitors were presented with demonstrations and talks.
On Saturday, the Port Angeles Farmers Market will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the corner of Lincoln and Front streets. Sequim’s market will feature Fiber Fun Day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 152 W. Cedar St., the Civic Center Plaza.
