Ballet Victoria — whose dancers have included Julia Jones Whitehead and Tymin McKeown, seen in 2019 — is among the dozens of performing ensembles to appear in the 2021 Juan de Fuca Festival, a blend of in-person and virtual shows May 28-31.
Passes for the virtual festival, which will feature 18 acts including the Paperboys, Sway Wild, dancer Jessie Young, and David Jacobs-Strain with Christopher Worth, are on sale now.
For the in-person shows — eight of them, including Joy in Mudville, Shaggy Sweet and Vaudeville Etiquette — tickets will become available later this month.
Also planned are a free street fair with food and artisan vendors on East Fourth Street outside the Vern Burton Community Center.
