PORT TOWNSEND — Peninsula Fiber Artists have installed “Beatlemania: 60th Anniversary,” a walk-by exhibit, in Port Townsend.
The exhibit is open 24 hours a day in the Fiber Habit Window, 675 Tyler St., through Nov. 30.
The exhibit showcases Beatles memorabilia and Beatles-themed quilts and other textile pieces to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Beatles’ landing in the U.S.
Port Angeles Beatles fan Merrie Jo Schroeder curated the street-side exhibit, which includes her work and the work of Evette Allerdings, also from Port Angeles; Liisa Fagerlund, from Sequim; and, from Port Townsend, Sue Gale, Pat Herkal, Kindy Kemp and Debra E. Olson.
Peninsula Fiber Artists installs a new walk-by exhibit in the Fiber Habit Window every two months; in October, the window featured “Home, Sweet Home,” which will be on display throughout November and December.
