PORT TOWNSEND — Valerie Soe will discuss her 2012 documentary “The Chinese Gardens” at 7 p.m. Friday.
The film talk, part of the Jefferson County Historical Society’s First Friday Speaker series, will stream on Zoom.
The film uses the history of Port Townsend’s Chinese Gardens to draw connections between past and present race relations in the U.S.
The suggested donation for the program is $10.
