Fox, Elliott to play at Concert in the Woods on Saturday

COYLE — Jenner Fox of Bainbridge Island and singer-songwriter Jermey Elliott will debut their album “The Moon That Moves the Sea” at Concerts in the Woods at 3 p.m. Saturday.

The duo will be joined by vocalist Stephanie Walbon, from Whatcom County, who will sit in with them for the show.

The Concerts in the Woods series is at the Laurel B. Johnson Community Center, 923 Hazel Point Road.

Tickets are by donation; $20 per person is suggested.

Fox, who comes from a family of river guides, followed the family river trade. He recorded his debut album to make some extra money selling CDs on the boat ramp after rafting trips.

That was five albums and 10 years ago.

His collaboration with Elliott on the new CD allows both musicians to broaden their musical and lyrical palettes.
