PORT TOWNSEND — AmeriCorps service members will present two free workshops at Fort Worden State Park on Saturday.
Nate Rees will discuss the operation of the gun batteries on Artillery Hill and explore the life of the soldiers who manned them from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

At 1 p.m., Anna Marchand will explain how to identify the 10 most common native plants in the park.
