Here Comes the Sun gala set at Quilcene museum

QUILCENE — The 14th annual Tasting Gala at the Quilcene Historical Museum will be Friday.

The gala will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the museum in Worthington Park, 151 E. Columbia St., Quilcene.

Tasting tickets are $20, or $18 for Quilcene Historical Museum members.

The annual gala has a new theme each year. This year, it’s Here Comes the Sun, with visitors treated to the best music of the 1960s and ’70s, both for listening and for dancing, organizers promise.

Local brews, wines, spirits and Jimmie’s Wagon serving food will be offered. Non-alcoholic beverages also will be available at this 21-and-older event.
