Holiday bazaars offer gifts, ornaments this weekend

The 39th edition of the Original Christmas Cottage craft fair is this weekend in Port Angeles.

Gifts and hand-painted ornaments will be offered for the holidays at The Original Christmas Cottage today through Sunday.

The bazaar, featuring handmade items by local artists, will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Vern Burton Community Center, 308 E. Fourth St.

Baked goods also will be on sale.

Participants are invited to bring cameras to take pictures with Santa from noon to 3 p.m. today through Sunday.

Pets and children are welcome.

Donations are urged for the Captain Joseph House Foundation.

Christmas Cottage is a group of crafters and artists who host The Original Christmas Cottage Craft Show each November at the Vern Burton center.

On the eastern end of the North Olympic Peninsula will be The Picket Fence and Friends Country Christmas in Quilcene.

The Picket Fence will host a market in two buildings and in its own site at 22 Washington St., from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Vendors with handmade, vintage and unique gifts and specials will be offered at places within a block of the Picket Fence.

Admission will be free.

Swag Bags will be given to the first 30 customers as well as a chance to win a $25 gift card to The Picket Fence.

Photos with Santa Claus will be offered by the vintage firetruck; a $5 donation goes directly to the Quilcene Booster Club.

PORT ANGELES — The Highland Commons Craft and bake sale is set for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The annual sale is at Highland Commons, 1703 Melody Circle.

The sale features holiday wreaths, jewelry, handmade leather goods, glass blocks, candies, cookies and breads.

Holiday Bazaar

PORT ANGELES — A holiday bazaar is set for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today and Saturday.

The bazaar is at First Baptist Church, 105 W. Sixth St.

Items for purchase include holiday gifts and decor, cookies, candies, baked goods, jams, plants and cookie plates.

The bazaar also features a quilt raffle.

Lunch, featuring soups, sandwiches, fruit pies hot coffee, tea and cider, will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Fall Bazaar

PORT ANGELES — Holy Trinity Lutheran Church will host its Fall Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The bazaar, at 301 N. Lopez Ave., will benefit local charities.

Lunch will be served starting at 11:30 a.m.

The bazaar will feature hand-crafted gifts, baked goods, homemade soaps and fair trade gifts.

There will also be a lefse demonstration and sale. Lefse is a traditional soft Norwegian flatbread.

2019 Holiday Bazaar

PORT ANGELES — St. Matthew Lutheran Church will host its 2019 Holiday Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The bazaar will be in the church at 132 E. 13th St.

The bazaar will feature holiday decorations, Christmas gifts, baked goods, jellies, jams and candies.

Visitors are urged to bring cameras for pictures with Santa from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Proceeds will support church projects.

Holiday Faire

PORT ANGELES — The Holiday Art/Craft Faire is set for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.

The fair will be held at Harbor Audiology and Hearing Center, 901 E. First Ave.

Nine local artists and artisans will offer Christmas ornaments, miniatures, prints, small quilts, jewelry and greeting and note cards.

CARLSBORG

PTA Bazaar

CARLSBORG — Greywolf Elementary School’s Parent Teacher Association will host a holiday bazaar from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The bazaar will be at Greywolf Elementary School, 171 Carlsborg Road.

The bazaar will feature more than 60 handcraft booths, book sales, student-made crafts and a visit from Santa.

Breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks are available for purchase.

SEQUIM

Autumn Bazaar

SEQUIM — An autumn bazaar is set for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today and Saturday.

The bazaar will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 121 E. Maple St.

Featured are handmade crafts, homemade baked goods, a silent auction and basket raffles.

St. Luke’s Bazaar

SEQUIM — St. Luke’s Episcopal Church will hold its 63rd Church Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The church is at 525 N. Fifth St.

The bazaar will feature handmade crafts, quilts, decorations, a raffle and a bake sale.

A luncheon of pulled pork sandwiches, Christine’s baked beans, coleslaw, cheesecake and beverage will be available for $10 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

SEQUIM — Pacific Northwest Wood Artisans will host its annual show and sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The sale at the Sequim Elks Lodge at 143 Port Williams Road will feature displays, demonstrations and sales.
