KONP Home Show set for this weekend

PORT ANGELES — KONP’s 39th annual Clallam County Home and Lifestyle Show returns this weekend with more than 120 exhibitor booths.

The show is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at Port Angeles High School’s gymnasium, 304 E. Park Ave.

Admission and parking is free, with shuttle bus service from the lower parking lots at Port Angeles High School, courtesy of 7 Cedars Casino.

The show is the largest exhibition of its kind on the North Olympic Peninsula. It draws thousands of visitors each year.

Organizers say attendees will find a variety of displays from purchasing a home, to home improvement, as well as ways to make daily life a little better.

This year’s show also will feature the KONP Community Corner presented by WaFed. The concessions area at the show will include local nonprofits displaying how they provide assistance to the community.

Attendees will have a chance to win a number of prize packages including gift certificates and tickets to see country music star Blake Shelton.

The exhibit is presented by Clallam County Public Utility District and also is sponsored by Angeles Millwork and Lumber Company, Hartnagel Building Supply and Leitz Farm Supply.
