Lecture on ‘Founding of Jamestown’ slated

BLYN — David Brownell will present “nəxʷŋəyaʔáwxʷ̕ ɬč: The Founding of Jamestown” at 3 p.m. Thursday.

The free, online presentation is sponsored by the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribal Library

Brownell, a tribal historic preservation officer, will discuss the factors that led the tribe to seek a new village site and how they built their new community.
