Libraries offer chance to design computer video games

Flatverse Coding Camps will offer participants the chance to design their own computer video games.

The free camps will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. every Thursday in February at the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St., and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. the first four Fridays in March at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave.

Participants of all ages can experiment with an interactive programming environment from Microsoft Research.

Laptops will be provided.

This program is made possible by a recent grant from the Washington State Library.

Registration is required. To register, visit www.nols.org, select “Events” and either “Sequim” or “Port Angeles,” or send an email to discover@nols.org.
