PORT ANGELES — A special on the Lincoln Theatre project in downtown Port Angeles will be presented online at 6 p.m. today.
Ghostlight Productions is providing the update, filmed at the theater at 103 E. First St.. The 20-minute documentary is being presented on Giving Tuesday.
It will be at https://ghostlightwa.org/#. Donations will be accepted for the restoration of the former movie house by owners Deborah and Marty Marchant. The work was estimated in August 2019 to cost $2 million.
It will offer some history of the building, which is more than a century old, a video tour of it and 3D renderings of plans for for its new design.
The shuttered theater opened in 1916 with the silent film “The Foundling” and was closed in 2014 after screening “RoboCop” and “Frozen.”
