PORT LUDLOW — The Ludlow Village Players are inviting theater fans to “The Outsider,” their first show in two years.
The comedy by Paul Slade Smith, which opened this past Friday night, will take the stage for a matinee at 2 p.m. today at the Bay Club, 120 Spinnaker Place.
Next weekend, the final three performances of “The Outsider” are set for 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday, March 20.
The 90-minute show is a satire about Ned Newley, a political candidate who is fearful of public speaking and doesn’t really want to be governor. Enter political consultant Arthur Vance, who sees the race from another perspective.
Tickets to “The Outsider,” which is described as a story that skewers politics and celebrates democracy are $17 at brownpapertickets.com and at the Bay Club.
