PORT TOWNSEND — The Frye Art Museum will present “Meet Me at the Movies” a 1 p.m. today.
The free film experience will be presented at the Rose Theatre, 235 Taylor St.
“Meet Me at the Movies” shows theme-based clips from classic and contemporary films and ends with a facilitated audience discussion.
The program, part of the museum’s creative aging initiative, is designed for people with memory loss and their care partners.
This month the program will feature clips from 1940’s “Knute Rockne: All American,” 1944’s “National Velvet,” 1989’s “Field of Dreams,” 1992’s “A League of Their Own” and 2002’s Bend It Like Beckham.”
The discussion will explore the theme of sports in film.
