Moving Pictures Festival accepting submissions

PORT ANGELES — Peninsula College is accepting submissions for its 11th Moving Pictures Festival until noon May 30.

The annual festival is set for 1:40 p.m. June 6 in the Little Theater at Peninsula College’s Port Angeles campus, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd., as part of Spring Arts Week.

The festival is open to current and former Peninsula College students.

Entries may include animations, slide presentations and films saved in video format; all submissions must be less than 11 minutes long and posted publicly on YouTube.

To enter a video, email the YouTube link with your name, year of attendance at the college, title of the film or animation, length of media and year produced to Renne Emiko Brock at rbrock@pencol.edu.

Video submissions will be curated by Brock and by students who have earned their short-term certificate in digital video.
