North Olympic Library System book discussions scheduled

PORT ANGELES — The North Olympic Library System will continue its book discussion groups online throughout April.

• The Second Saturday Book Discussion Group will meet at 3 p.m. Saturday to discuss “The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind” by William Kamkwamba and Bryan Mealer. Paperback copies are available for pickup at the Sequim Library.

The group will discuss “Just Mercy” by Bryan Stevenson in May.

• The Second Tuesday Book Discussion Group will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday to discuss “The Plague of Doves” by Louise Erdrich.

Paperback copies are available for pickup at the Port Angeles Library.

In May, the group will discuss “The Sixth Extinction: An Unnatural History” by Elizabeth Kolbert.

• The Novel Conversations Book Discussion Group is set to meet at 4 p.m. April 27 to talk about “Two Years Eight Months and Twenty-Eight Nights” by Salman Rushdie. Paperback copies are available for pickup at the Sequim Library.

The group plans to discuss “All the Light We Cannot See” by Anthony Doerr in May.

• The Wednesday Evening Book Discussion Group will meet at 6 p.m. April 27 to discuss “Vesper Flights” by Helen Macdonald. Paperback copies are available for pickup at the Port Angeles Library.

Its May selection is “Euphoria” by Lily King.
