Open mic night set at Studio Bob

PORT ANGELES — Sarah Tucker will host an open mic from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday.

The event at Studio Bob, 118½ E. Front St. in Port Angeles, will be split into a family-friendly session from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and an adult session from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

“This open mic is different,” Tucker said. “We will be showing video and performance art as well as a performer focused staged and seating that is different from the usual crowded bar scene. And the family portion of the evening is a great opportunity for kids and parents to get a chance to be onstage and their family to film and photograph their acts.”

Signups have closed, but there are openings to perform at another session scheduled in May.
